Cooper and Company General Contractors is excited to announce the appointment of Chris Maier as the company’s new Business Development Director effective January 6th, 2020.

Mr. Maier joins Cooper with diversified experience in the A/E/C market serving in sales & management roles for the past ten years. Chris’s background began in service-oriented sales and evolved into significant growth and promotions as a business development professional.   His knowledge and experience in the construction industry from both a general contractor and sub-contractor market bring a ton of wealth to the Cooper organization. Additionally, Mr. Maier has a well-established reputation in the private commercial real estate market that allows Cooper to provide a more balanced portfolio of services to our clients. Chris is an active member of numerous A/E/C industry organizations and holds an MBA in Organizational Development & Leadership.

In addition, Mr. Maier is the founder of a unique construction/real estate industry networking event know as the Contractors, Connectors, and Closers event that raises money for local non-profits in our community.  The quarterly event brings together numerous players in the A/E/C industry for a very specific and targeted evening of networking.  Cooper is excited to continue to support Chris to make this event even more beneficial in 2020.

Chris went on to say that his life has been dedicated toward forming long-lasting, genuine relationships and that his overall mission is to help as many individuals along the way with their needs which is what allows him to thrive as a professional.

Chris joins the Marketing and Development team in Cooper’s growing Preconstruction division.  Chris’s focus on private development complements the existing relationships and work being done by the our firms Director of Marketing & Development Amanda Groover in the public sector.   Chris and Amanda are both ready to take the firms ability to provide value to our owners to the next level.
