Project Update: Cooper & Company won’t have to commute very far for its next project award. The firm is excited to announce it will be the Construction Manager for the Boys and Girls Club of Lanier-Bagwell’s newest location in Forsyth County at 2150 Antioch Road. A job site located less than four miles from the Cooper & Company home office in downtown Cumming.

The scope of work for this project will include renovations and minor additions to the existing facility, tearing it down to the pre-engineered metal frame and slab and construct a new two-story Boys and Girls Club. This is the first phase of the master plan to further develop the 21.5-acre site.

Boys and Girls Clubs of Lanier-Bagwell put young people on the path to great futures. Programs provide promise, hope and opportunities to ensure youth and teens become productive adults. Programming is provided in the areas of academic success, good character and citizenship, and healthy lifestyles. The Boys and Girls Clubs of Lanier-Bagwell serve more than 1,300 club members in 25 club sites in Hall, Habersham and Forsyth Counties.

“Our firm is very excited to embark on this special project for the Boys and Girls Club of Lanier-Bagwell,” Cooper & Company President Steve Cooper said. “Once complete, this project will transform the lives of youth for years to come in this community and we are ecstatic to be a part of it.”

Vice-President Jim Cooper echoed Steve’s sentiments. “Our firm takes pride in the relationships we build and the communities we serve,” Jim said. “To be able to work with such an outstanding organization in our very own backyard is a great honor to us and we are looking forward to providing the best construction services for this project with the Boys and Girls Club of Lanier-Bagwell.”
