Rock Creek Park breaks ground on new gymnasium
Last week’s celebration wasn’t your typical groundbreaking—and that made it even more memorable. We were honored to join Dawson County Government in celebrating the launch of its newest community project: the Rock Creek Park Gymnasium. Rather than turning dirt, this milestone marked an exciting step forward for a facility designed to bring people together through movement, wellness, and recreation.
Once completed, the Rock Creek Park Gymnasium will be a 33,140-square-foot facility thoughtfully designed to serve Dawson County's need for more activity space. The first floor will feature a full gymnasium, welcoming lobby, and essential support spaces that help the building function smoothly for daily use and community events. Above, a second-floor walking track will provide a dedicated space for fitness and recreation year-round, regardless of weather.
Projects like this are a reminder of the impact well-designed public spaces can have on a community. We’re thrilled to collaborate with Jericho Design Group, LLC on this Design-Build project to bring this vision to life and proud to support Dawson County’s commitment to enhancing quality of life through accessible, forward-thinking facilities.
We look forward to seeing this project take shape and becoming a place where the community can gather, stay active, and build lasting connections for years to come.
