Hooper Renwick Themed Library

a themed library facility preserving and honoring the legacy of the former Hooper-Renwick School through inclusion of architectural design elements and exhibits to showcase the history of the school. The project includes renovations of an existing historic school building to be used as a public library and construction of new additions which will be comprised of public library space and exhibit space. The construction will be 25,000 square feet in total, which includes 11,400 square feet of renovated space and 13,600 square feet of new additions. Included in the construction will be structural, mechanical, plumbing, fire protection, electrical, low-voltage, specialty lighting, waterproofing, exhibit space, and site improvements including grading and landscaping.
